That’s why, this week, we wanted to give you ways you can track popular products. 


Tracking trending products is important because you want to make sure your ecommerce business is selling products people want and can also give you ideas on what to sell at your business. Now, we’re going to list and detail some of the best ways to find these products. 


First, Google Trends is a great way to track a product’s search growth. This tool is a great way to see the rise and fall of a product’s popularity. You will be able to analyze fads and trendy items by analyzing these lines. All you have to do is go to Google Trends, search a product, and look at its trend line. 


Amazon Suggest is another good way to find product ideas. If you have an idea of what you’d like to sell, you can type in the main word and see what the Amazon search suggests for the rest of it. This can show you what products are popular or are going to be popular. 


Similarly, Pinterest Suggest is used in the same way as Amazon Suggest. However, it is a good way to uncover some up-and-coming or new products that would not appear on Amazon. You should definitely use Pinterest as a resource in this case!


Next, the Facebook Ad Library is a great source for finding new product ideas. This is a great way to find what kind of products are trendy because most marketing campaigns begin on Facebook. The Facebook Ad Library makes it easy to track what your competition is doing, but a downside to using this feature is that you can only search companies you have in mind to find what they are doing. 


Finally, Etsy is a great place to find out what products are emerging. Etsy is a good place to discover what products will gain popularity because they are homemade products that, if trending, are likely to be mass produced soon. However, it is important to note that Etsy is mostly popular for certain niches, so it may not make sense for your business to use this as a researching resource.
